HFHWRA is locally operated as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International.

1984
Habitat for Humanity, Inc. Southwest Wisconsin is founded

2016
A second ReStore opens
in Portage

2001
Habitat for Humanity of Sauk-Columbia County (HFHSCA) is founded

2016
Our affiliates merge to become Wisconsin River Area, serving a tri-county area of Columbia, Sauk & Iowa counties

2011
Our first ReStore opens
in Baraboo

TODAY
HFHWRA has built more than 80 homes as well as providing affordable home repairs and free homebuyer education
