There are many ways you can share your time & talents to make a difference!
All we ask is that you bring an open heart and willing hands.
Note: Volunteers must be age 16+ to help with construction tasks.
You don't need construction experience to help us build and repair homes! We'll supply the tools and safety equipment, and we always have a supervisor on site to provide instruction and support.
We usually work from 9am to 4pm with regular breaks during the day.
Plan for:
Getting messy and working outdoors!
-
Wear comfortable clothes; we recommend layers as the day warms up.
-
Wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals) and tie back long hair for safety.
-
Bring a water bottle and a bag lunch.
Tasks:
Vary quite a bit. Volunteers help at every stage of a home build, and our repairs projects cover the range from installing ramps to replacing flooring, doors or drywall. We guarantee you will always learn something new!
