YOU can make an impact!

As an AmeriCorps Volunteer In Service To America (VISTA) with Habitat for Humanity Wisconsin River Area, you will research, develop, and implement energy efficiency programs for low-income households.

You will form partnerships with local energy organizations to conduct energy audits for disadvantaged homeowners, then use this data to present a case on the advantages of prioritizing energy efficiency in new

home construction and existing home modifications.

You will also create education modules and workshops for homeowners

that promote green living, the importance of energy efficiency, and

cost-effective ways to reduce energy consumption and utility expenses.

The Store that Builds Homes!

Love to shop our stores? Come work with us! As a Sales Associate, you will serve as an ambassador for Habitat through your interactions with customers and donors. You will help with intake of product donations, help stock and maintain a clean, shoppable and safe environment, and offer fast & friendly assistance to customers.

Habitat ReStores don't just help us raise funds! They provide home

improvement materials and furnishings at an affordable price.

Through donations, deconstruction and recycling we also

make sure more usable items find a second life and reduce burden

in our landfills. And as our most public facing program, we help

educate the public about the ways we serve the community.

Build Your Skills & Build HOPE!

We're seeking a seasoned handyperson to help low-income families complete affordable repairs, weatherization

and home accessibility modifications, with a focus on serving veterans, elderly and disabled persons so they can remain safe in their homes. This is a project based position with flexible hours.

You will work alongside our team to provide work estimates

and lead volunteers in repair projects. You will also help install

modular ramps and other accessibility products and coordinate with

area contractors. You will work with our team to deliver home maintenance

and safety education workshops to the public.

Together we can build homes, communities and hope!
