Habitat for Humanity's International Women Build Week is an annual weeklong construction event in partnership with Lowe's. This year, all events are virtual and will start on International Women's Day, March 8th.

Our Presenters
Jan Aslaksen & Carolyne Kotchi
Jan and Carolyne serve as presenters for Habitat's AARP Here To Stay workshops which offer practical tips for older homeowners to care for their home with limited expense and physical risk. Jan also serves as secretary of Habitat's Build & Site Selection committee.
Butch Chiochon
Butch is the manager of Habitat's home repair program. Previously he spent 20+ years running his own contracting business. An Iowa native, he makes guitars in his spare time.

Moderator Lila Waldman
Lila Waldman is a retired professor of Business Teacher Education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin River Area. She and her husband were active in Habitat for Humanity while living in Kentucky and Pennsylvania. At Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, she served as advisor of the student Habitat chapter. Lila also volunteers for the Portage Food Pantry and is an active member of Columbia County Master Gardeners, Pardeeville Garden Club, Portage Women's Civic League, Ice Age Trail Alliance, and First Presbyterian of Pardeeville.
